Dominican Republic.
As we reported in our coffee journal in 2019, in cooperation with partners of the coffee industry we support the coffee plantation Finca Fuente Vieja in the Dominican Republic. The people in the small mountain village Arroyo Frio have made their living from the coffee plantation since generations and live in humble conditions. On the opposite of Arroyo Frio, the village schoolhouse is situated on a steep hill.
Renovation schoolyard
In December 2019, with our support, the schoolyard could be renovated completely and a new protective fence was erected.
The people from Arroyo Frio are very happy and full of gratitude.
