In order to be able to guarantee a certain level of delivery relia­bility, it was important to us that our goods are now centra­lized in the new high-bay warehouse, that we are able to produce at any time, that our logistics processes are faster and that our response time to customer requests is more flexible. As we deliver an average of 150-350 pallets per day, before the investment, all employees had to be rounded up at short notice at peak times to ensure that all orders were dispatched on time. Today, on the other hand, orders can be packed up days earlier and stored back in the HBW until the order is called off for delivery. “With LTW, we not only had the best feeling right from the start, but also a partner who supported us from the quotation phase to commis­sioning with their broad expertise, not only thinking outside the box, but also in a very collegial manner,” says Dominik Kapeller, who managed the project internally from start to finish. The new high-bay warehouse comprises three storage and retrieval machines, which manage around 8,500 pallet spaces. At the picking stations, the goods are loaded onto the transfer carriages in the pre-zone. 

This was specially equipped with a hub, as the struc­tural condi­tions required this special solution. The goods are then trans­ferred to the HBW, where they are processed by the RBG1. This also functions as a vertical conveyor.
